NJICLE The 2020 SECURE Act- What All Lawyers Need to Know to Keep their Clients Secure

Gary A. Prince, Jr., Esq. will be presenting for the New Jersey State Bar Association at the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) The 2020 SECURE Act- What All Lawyers Need to Know to Keep their Clients Secure on January 24, 2020.  The Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement Act of 2019 (the SECURE Act) was signed into law in December and became effective January 1, 2020.  The SECURE Act will have a wide-spread impact on retirement accounts and retirement planning as part of the estate and income tax planning process.

NJCPA Annual Tax Seminar – Union County

Brian D. Reynolds, Esq. will be presenting at the Union County Chapter of the New Jersey CPA Society All Day Tax Seminar on December 7, 2019 at The Westwood in Garwood, NJ.  Mr. Reynolds’ presentation will include an update on the federal Estate and Gift Tax and the New Jersey Estate and Inheritance Tax including what taxpayers need to consider in light of the changing federal and New Jersey estate and inheritance tax landscape.

New Jersey Society of CPAs-Full Day Annual Tax Seminar

Gary A. Prince, Jr., Esq. and Bruce E. Mantell, Esq. will be presenting a full-day program (7 CPE credit hours) to the NJSCPA-Middlesex/Somerset Chapter on November 23, 2019 at the Pines Manor, Edison, New Jersey.  The program will cover a variety of Income Tax, Corporate Tax and Estate and Gift Tax topics, including retirement plan distribution rules (including the impact of the Secure Act if passed), Internal Revenue Code Section 199A, estate tax unified credit portability concerns, business planning and tax issues, as well as an update on Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 and the New Jersey Inheritance Tax Law.
